General Conference

How do general authorities convey their messages? What tools of language do they use and why are they so powerful? I don't have any technical answers. I have given the matter considerable thought. Some seem to use Literary tools like alliteration, and some are simply good story tellers. Most were excellent at speaking slowly enough for the words to sink in. However even those that seem to have terrible inflection, and overemphasize too many syllables seem to get their message across clearly and effectively.
My conclusion is that though many are excellent public speakers, the message is carried by the spirit to the heart of the individual listening to the message. First I saw that even those authorities who seemed to really struggle with public speaking still had great impact on their audience. Second I was able to ascertain that different people received different messages from the same talk. Therefore the only element that could account for this is the spirit present in the setting of general conference. It is this element that is primarily responsible for the efficacy of the authorities speaking in general conference.
